How can you recognize it?
Look for a mottled brown adult, pale bands on the antennae, and alternating light and dark marks along the exposed abdominal edge. Other stink bugs can look similar.
What does it eat?
It feeds on a wide variety of plants, including fruits and vegetables, using piercing-sucking mouthparts.
Why does it enter buildings?
Adults may seek sheltered places to overwinter. Finding one indoors does not mean it developed there.
